Today, we celebrate the 102nd anniversary of the birth of Daisy Peterson Sweeney, who was recently included in an online interactive map of remarkable women of Quebec, created by the Québec Commission de toponymie.
The interactive map highlights more than 500 place names of 100 local women who have had an outstanding career, whether in the fields of health, education, business, unionism, social justice, science, arts or politics.
